DMCA Policy

Verona Feldbusch Jung respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), the text of which can be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website at http://www.copyright.gov/legislation/dmca.pdf, we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Verona Feldbusch Jung service and/or website (the "Service") if such claims are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below.

This policy describes the information that should be present in a DMCA Notice and Counter-Notice. It is designed to make submitting notices of alleged infringement to Verona Feldbusch Jung as straightforward as possible while reducing the number of notices that are fraudulent or difficult to understand.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Alleged Infringement

  3. Contact Information: Provide your mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
  4. Statement of Good Faith Belief: Include both of the following statements in the body of the Notice:
    • "I hereby state that I have a good faith belief that the disputed use of the copyrighted material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use)."
    • "I hereby state that the information in this Notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right under the copyright that is allegedly infringed."
  5. Electronic or Physical Signature: Provide your full legal name and an electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient).

DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your material has been removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with us by submitting a written notification to our Designated Copyright Agent identified above. Pursuant to the DMCA, the Counter-Notice must include substantially the following:

  • Identification of the removed material: Identify the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location (e.g., URL) at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • Statement under penalty of perjury: Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled."
  • Subscriber's contact information: Provide your name, address, and telephone number.
  • Consent to jurisdiction: Include the following statement: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Verona Feldbusch Jung may be found, and I will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notification or an agent of such person."
  • Physical or Electronic Signature: Provide your full legal name and an electronic or physical signature (typing your full legal name is sufficient).
